Please pardon the cross-posting.
At last Friday’s Oregon State Library Board meeting, Board members approved adding Opposing Viewpoints to our existing contract with Gale. That means that by mid-May, everyone [Oregon residents] will have access to Opposing Viewpoints via OSLIS. If you subscribe to that database on your own, you should be eligible for a credit.
The Board also approved adding a testing/computer skills database to our statewide offerings—something along the lines of Learning Express. We have to follow the state procurement process to acquire this product so expect to have access by late summer or early fall.
I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks,
Jen
